When I go to Lemon Zest, I feel young…again!

Last July, I (just under 50, thank you), my mom (70+), my sister-in-law (indeterminant age), and my nieces (too young to know better) went tubing, with my brother Mike captaining the speedboat from Parrot  Cove.

Ice cream boats? At Smith Mountain Lake

I do think that one of the coolest jobs at Smith Mountain Lake at summertime needs to be running the ice cream boat. It comes down the cove, music tinkling…you just need to run out to the dock to get your cone!

In fact, while taking the boat aroundthe lake, you may wave the ice cream boat over and get a snack on your travels.
